All Massachusetts Bar Association members and their colleagues are encouraged
to attend the FREE, second session of the MBA’s new, monthly Legal Lunch
Series. These events are geared toward civil litigators of all experience levels
and provides an opportunity to participate in a discussion of selected areas of
law, or practice, in a collegial setting where you can meet and exchange ideas
with other members of the profession.
The Legal Lunch Series is delighted to announce
that George A. Berman, Esq. from Peabody & Arnold LLP and Charles P.
Kazarian, Esq. from the Law Office of Charles P. Kazarian will be speaking at the series' second
installment. Berman and Kazarian will discuss various topics of legal malpractice, focusing on
the most common forms of legal malpractice and how lawyers can best
avoid becoming a legal malpractice defendant.
Berman has been
representing defendants in professional liability and insurance coverage matters
since 1979, has represented over 500 lawyers and law firms in his career and is
a former chairperson of the Board of Bar Overseers.Kazarian has focused his practice on representation of legal
malpractice plaintiffs for over 30 years and brings a unique perspective as both
a litigator and expert witness. Kazarian is a frequent speaker at legal malpractice and
CLE conferences and is sought out by legal publications for commentary on matters of
interest regarding the practice of law.
The Legal Lunch Series,
coordinated by the Civil Litigation Section and Young Lawyers Division,
will be moderated by Courtney Shea, Esq. of Looney & Grossman LLP and Craig
Levey, Esq. of Bennett & Belfort PC.
Attendees are encouraged to bring their own
lunch.
