Feed Your Mind - The MBA's Legal Lunch Series: Taking and Defending Depositions

When:  Jan 21, 2015 from 12:30 PM to 01:30 PM (ET)

All Massachusetts Bar Association members are encouraged to attend these free lunchtime programs. We gear these programs toward civil litigators of all experience levels, providing an opportunity to participate in a discussion of selected areas of law, or practice, in a collegial setting where you can meet and exchange ideas with other members of the profession. This month’s speakers will guide an informative discussion on how to take and defend depositions.

Scott M. Heidorn focuses his practice on complex professional liability claims, including legal and medical malpractice. He has been trial counsel in a number of catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases. Heidorn is involved in a number of local and national bar associations, including the MBA. He is a past chairman of the MBA’s Young Lawyers Division and a member of the Lawyer Referral Service Committee. Pursuing his passion for educating young attorneys, Heidorn has taught a number of continuing legal education courses through the MBA and MCLE.

Todd J. Bennett practices primarily in the areas of commercial and general business litigation, employment law and litigation, non-competition and non-solicitation disputes, contract disputes, real estate litigation, landlord/tenant law, construction litigation, and commercial lease drafting and negotiations. Bennett’s clients range from individuals and start-up businesses to Fortune 500 companies. His litigation and negotiation experience is extensive.
