Please join the MBA's Health Law Section in attending a discussion
by Micah Ascano, Program Manager for Fisher & Philips' legal project management
initiative, Fisher Focus, and Donald Whitmore, Esq, DEW Advisory,
on Lean Six Sigma on November 17, 2015 from 5:15-6:45 pm at the
MBA, 20 West St., Boston.
This discussion will review the
history of Lean Six Sigma and define what is Lean Six Sigma, how is it used, and
by whom. The speakers will discuss the application of Lean Six Sigma in
the legal marketplace and the health care system. Attendees will gain
knowledge into this topic as well as specific analytical tools. The
session will conclude with an opportunity for questions and interactive
discussion among the participants.

*Micah Ascano is the Program Manager for Fisher &
Philips' legal project management initiative, Fisher Focus, where he works with
partners to improve matter management and implement process improvement
throughout different practice disciplines related to labor and employment
law. He is known for his innovative work with Control Charts and his
unique background as a Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and attorney.
Prior to joining Fisher & Philips Micah consulted for
Artifex Legal Consulting and worked with AM100 law firms as well as legal
departments of national corporations. Micah is a Fellow of the American Bar
Foundation, Adjunct Faculty at the Legal Lean Sigma Institute, and a regular
contributor to various legal practice management focused
publications.
