“Getting Citizenship Without Getting Deported: Pitfalls for the Unwary”

 

The Immigration Law Section Council invites all MBA members who currently practice immigration law or who are interested in becoming involved in the practice of immigration law to attend this free panel discussion which focuses on securing citizenship for your client and the pitfalls that may be encountered.

Topics to be highlighted include information-gathering for the client's immigration file, qualification status for permanent residence, selective service issues, the effect of previous deportation/unlawful presence in U.S., and criminal issues.
