Stephen Pike, General Counsel for Renewable Energy Generation at the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center, will discuss the many programs of the Center.

The Center was established by Chapter 23J of the General Laws to promote clean energy development in Massachusetts. It receives funding from the Renewable Energy Trust Fund, which was created by the Massachusetts Legislature in 1998 as part of the deregulation of the electric utility market.

The Trust, in turn, is funded by a charge paid by electric ratepayers of investor-owned utilities in Massachusetts, as well as municipal electric departments that have opted to participate in the program.

Please be sure to RSVP to jstevens@massbar.org as space is limited.
