Bio

Mark Armstrong Attorney at Law, P.C. welcomes clients dealing with various legal issues. As a lawyer in general practice, I offer full representation in Special Needs Planning, Estate Planning, Guardianship, Conservatorship, Probate, Family Law, Special Education Advocacy, and general legal matters. Clients concerned about elders, disabled individuals, minors, prior families, second families, family legacies, family disputes, special education issues, incapacity, and more come to me for help. Estate Planning clients come from all walks of life and different circumstances. We begin with an assessment of the client's financial and family life and then discuss options so the client can make informed choices about their family's plan. Sometimes people we love neglect to plan their legacy and their estate needs to go through probate, or they planned solely using a will. If clients need help getting through the probate process I can help them become appointed Personal Representative of the estate, and advise on the estate administration if needed. A more complex probate litigation issue, such as a Will Contest, is much more difficult than an uncontested probate and requires legal counsel. The approach I generally take in Family Law matters is to foster a collaborative effort. Even though your relationship has turned sour, your were once in a loving family, no matter the size. Parenthood is forever and your children will inevitably need parents who work together. The end of the marriage is really the beginning of a new financial endeavor and both parties need realistic expectations for what has become two households for one family. Special Education Advocacy also requires collaboration. The goal in meeting the educational needs of your child is to foster a solid working relationship the school district professionals. I can help with IEPs, Transition Planning, Team Meetings, 504 plans, Manifestation Determination Hearings, and BSEA Hearing Representation.
