An American Lawyer in the Home of International Justice
Guest Speaker: Adam Birnbaum, Esq.
Adam Birnbaum spent a year in The Hague, interning at the International Criminal Court and the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia, and studying at the Hague Academy of International Law.
He will share his thoughts and observations about being an American-educated lawyer working in The Hague, and his experience of the things that the American law school experience does (and does not) do to prepare young lawyers to work in an international legal context.
