Join the Massachusetts Bar Association’s Dispute Resolution (DR) Section as we kick off
Conflict Resolution Week by presenting a conversation with Josh Hoch of Mediation Works,
Inc. (MWI) about the practice of organizational ombuds.
Hoch will discuss the ombuds role, provide a guide to advising clients about
ombuds services, and explore a new dispute resolution path. The program is for
lawyers, mediators, in-house counsel and other dispute resolution
professionals.
Many professionals are curious about organizational ombuds work and how
it aligns with their practice, and where the skills translate and where the
roles differ. This conversation will offer a clear and practical introduction to the
organizational ombuds role.
Designed for lawyers and mediators seeking a deeper understanding of
organizational ombuds practice, this conversation will help participants assess
whether the role may be a meaningful extension of their professional work.
This program is free to all!
The program will be held via Zoom. Registration is required by 10 a.m
on Tuesday, Oct. 13, in order to participate in this program. An email
from MassBar Education will be sent before the
program.
