concentrates her practice on civil litigation, representing businesses and individuals in all manner of disputes with a focus on employment matters, business litigation, and general liability. Prior to joining Conn Kavanaugh, she gained broad litigation experience at a small firm where she primarily represented plaintiffs in general liability, motor vehicle accident, product liability, medical malpractice, dramshop, and nursing home negligence cases. Her experience also includes the defense of professionals in malpractice claims and disciplinary matters. In 2013 and 2014, Kate was named a “Rising Star” by the rating service Super Lawyers.
Kate graduated from Suffolk University Law School, and earned her bachelor’s degree in English from Wellesley College. During law school, she received the First Year Distinguished Brief Award for outstanding performance in legal writing. She is an active member of several local bar associations, as well as the Wellesley Lawyers Network. Kate is presently serving on the MBA's Civil Litigation Section Council, and has previously served on the General Practice, Solo & Small Firm Section Council.
