All MBA western Massachusetts Business Law section members are invited to attend the February 26th MBA Business Law Section Council meeting to be held at the MBA’s Springfield Office, 73 State Street, 3rd Floor from 6-7:30 pm.
The guest speaker will be Scott Foster, who is a partner at Bulkley Richardson, and will speak about Valley Venture Mentors. Scott is a founder of VVM, which is a nonprofit organization that operates in Western Massachusetts to offer professional mentoring support to entrepreneurs. This new organization has attracted widespread interest and support at various levels. Scott will speak about the personal and community benefits that have come from this new endeavor.
Drawing on the successes of VVM, Scott will also address ways in which business attorneys, and other business professionals, can organize to provide pro bono support to emerging enterprises.
