    Law as a Living Profession: Identity, Impact and Innovation

    The Massachusetts Bar Association's Young Lawyers Division will hold its Eighth Annual Symposium, titled “Law as a Living Profession: Identity, Impact, and Innovation," as an in-person event on Wednesday, April 15, at the MBA headquarters, located at 20 West St., Boston.

    The keynote speaker will be Gavin Alexander, from Jackson Lewis PC, Boston.  Alexander (he/him) is an experienced and passionate advocate and thought leader in the areas of mental health and well-being in the legal profession and beyond. He is a licensed attorney, mental health first aid instructor, and certified corporate wellness specialist. He currently serves as the well-being director of Jackson Lewis PC. Before joining JL, Alexander served as the first-ever Fellow of the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court Standing Committee on Lawyer Well-Being, and from 2013-2020, Alexander practiced law in the asset management and private capital transactions groups of a global law firm.

    Symposium sessions will be held on:

    • Thriving in the Age of AI 
    • Building Relationships and Reputation Early

    Registration begins at 12:30 and the opening remarks will begin at 1 p.m.

    A networking reception with food and beverages will directly follow the symposium. All registrants are encouraged to join us to begin making connections with colleagues in the legal field.
