“MCAD Announces New ADR Initiative – Keeping Your Options Open”

The Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination has announced a new alternative dispute resolution initiative which will impact all practitioners who appear before the Commission.  

You are cordially invited to attend the Labor and Employment Section Open Meeting on September 27, 2012 regarding the Commission’s Collaborative Law Pilot Project.  The panel will include:

·        Moderator John F. Tocci, Tocci Goss & Lee PC

·        Commissioner Sunila Thomas-George, MCAD

·        Linda Cohan, MSW, CSC

·        Michael A. Zeytoonian, Esq., Zeytoonian Center for Dispute Resolution, LLC

                Commissioner Thomas-George will discuss this new initiative, its goals and how it adds another process options for those with cases before the MCAD, Attorney Zeytoonian will speak on behalf of the Massachusetts Collaborative Law Council (MCLC) which developed the Pilot Project to provide this novel ADR option to parties who appear before the MCAD and will provide the perspective of a collaborative lawyer representing one of the parties, and Ms. Cohan will provide the perspective of a neutral coach/facilitator in the collaborative case process.

This Open Meeting is a joint presentation of the Massachusetts Bar Association’s ADR Committee and Labor and Employment Section and is a free program.
