Feed Your Mind -- A Legal Lunch Series Part III

When:  May 16, 2013 from 12:30 PM to 01:30 PM (ET)

Featuring Brian J. Carney, Esq. and Austin J. Freeley, Esq.

All Massachusetts Bar Association members and their colleagues are encouraged to attend the FREE, third session of the MBA’s new, monthly Legal Lunch Series. These events are geared toward civil litigators of all experience levels. The series provides an opportunity to participate in a discussion of selected areas of law, or practice, in a collegial setting where you can meet and exchange ideas with other members of the profession.

The Legal Lunch Series is delighted to announce that Brian J. Carney, Esq., of WIN Interactive Inc., and Austin J. Freeley, Esq., of the Law Offices of Austin J. Freeley, will be speaking on the topic of demonstrative evidence. Carney and Freeley will discuss how to effectively use demonstrative evidence, including 3D animation, timelines, medical illustrations and maps and diagrams, to successfully litigate matters.

Carney is a former prosecutor and the owner and operator of WIN Interactive Inc., a consulting firm that provides litigation support services, including but not limited to demonstrative evidence, to attorneys across Massachusetts. Freeley has focused his practice on personal injury, criminal defense and civil rights matters since 1993, and with the assistance of WIN Interactive Inc., successfully obtained a $1.75M settlement in Federal Court (District of Massachusetts) against the City of Revere, the largest settlement ever given by the city.

The Legal Lunch Series, coordinated by the Civil Litigation Section and Young Lawyers Division, will be moderated by Courtney Shea, Esq. of Looney & Grossman LLP and Craig Levey, Esq. of Bennett & Belfort PC.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their own lunch.
