Neighborhood Legal Services is holding
Back to the 60's -- A
45th Anniversary Celebration & Reunion. NLS provides free civil
legal services to low income and elderly residents of Essex and Northern
Middlesex Counties.
NLS will honor it's former executive directors (attorney Joseph D. Roman Jr., The Hon. David D. Kerman and attorney Ross M. Dolloff) and will also present The Cornerstone of Justice Award to the Chair of the House Ways & Means Rep. Brian Dempsey.
The event will be held on Thursday, Nov. 29 at 5:30 p.m. at the historic Hawthorne Hotel, 18 Washington Square West, Salem. There will be carving, pasta and dessert stations, a cash bar, live music and a DJ spinning some fantastic 60's music. There is a great silent auction and raffles.
