Cultural Competency for Cases Involving GAL and Probation Investigations

Please join the Massachusetts Bar Association's Family Law Section to discuss the role of lawyers and GALS in custody and parenting time cases involving low-income and/or immigrant families.

Learn and develop best practices in cultural competency from the experts in the field.  Whether you are a judge, lawyer or GAL, you will hear about issues that commonly arise in lower-income and/or immigrant cases, and how to issue spot and communicate effectively with litigants and the court.
