Attorney Brian R. Jerome was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut and is a 1972 graduate of Assumption College in Worcester, Massachusetts. He is a 1980 magna cum laude graduate of New England Law in Boston, Massachusetts. He thereafter worked as an attorney at Parker, Coulter, Daley and White in Boston and later was in private practice with other associates focusing on matters of civil litigation and trial, and he represented both plaintiffs and defendants.
Brian Jerome founded Massachusetts Dispute Resolution Services (MDRS) in 1991, as one of the first full service DR firms in Massachusetts. With nearly 30 years of service as industry leaders, MDRS has grown to include a professional panel of ~40 neutrals, including retired justices and attorneys, that provide out of court mediation and arbitration services to private individuals, attorneys, businesses, the government, and the insurance community.
Since 1991, Attorney Jerome has served exclusively as a mediator and arbitrator and has handled over 15,000 cases involving a wide array of subject matter, including civil litigation, personal injury law, wrongful death, automobile and UM cases, medical and legal malpractice, construction, property, first party property and casualty reference hearings, products liability, premises, real estate, government, business, commercial, employment, sexual abuse, probate, and complex multi party litigation.
Brian is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association and is immediate past-Chair and founder of its Dispute Resolution (DR) Section, and also serves as a court-approved conciliator in Massachusetts Superior and Land Courts. He is a member of the Essex County Bar Association, the New England Association for Conflict Resolution and the American Bar Association, and is a founding member of the Massachusetts Chapter of the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals. Also a proud member of the Salem and Lynn Bar Associations, Brian lives with his family in Marblehead, Massachusetts.
